Launched in January 2016, Compassion Belfast is not-for-profit charity,

birthed at UTbelfast Elim Church on the Ravenhill Road, Belfast.

The charity’s projects and activities are volunteer led and we encourage and greatly benefit from a diverse range volunteers of various ages, backgrounds, nationalities

and people of faith and none.

We all love a story and the most interesting stories are those that tell of a person’s life.

With very little effort and without having to look too far there are people around you who’s story of life is one of poverty, homelessness, heartache, crisis, loneliness or trauma.

It’s in the middle of these stories - these lives - that you will find Compassion Belfast at work, as we seek to change the story of our city one life at a time!

ETHOS

Motivated by our Christian faith, Compassion Belfast aims to relieve poverty, advance community development, improve social welfare and offer relief to those in need regardless of age, race, gender and political or religious opinion.

MISSION

We go into our city to meet people at their point of need, offering practical support to help them transform their lives and rediscover their worth.

OBJECTIVE

Changing the story of our city one life at a time.
